It just seems that we are in a time warp here…

In Pérouges you will have the impression that time has stopped. Follow us along the cobblestone streets of this charming little village.

You will be immersed in the Middle Ages. The houses, the alleys, the stalls all are authentic!

Nothing better then to have a seat on the village square and savour the local sweet speciality that Pérouges is famous for, the Galette of Pérouges.

You will then drive to the Bugey wine region, which is 460 hectars across 68 villages. You will discover a green region with ponds, lakes, castles and vineyards including its sparkling wine which is 60% of the wine produced here. During a tour in a family run winery, you will learn the local history and tradition. You will taste fruity and voluptuous gamays, pinots, chardonnays and also local grape varieties such as mondeuse and altesse.
